Description
獺祭 DASSAI BLUE Type 35 720ml
🇺🇸US new brand DASSAI BLUE 🍶
Use the water source of the New York Hudson River Valley
"Dassai" literally means "otter festival". This is a word that was used long ago in the region, Yamaguchi Prefecture, as there were many otters frolicking in the nearby rivers. Otters would lay out on the shore fishes they caught, almost as if they are showing them off – like one would do
In the fall of 2023, the most explosive news in the Japanese wine industry, the Japanese wine handle "otter festival" founded the wine collection in Manhattan, New York, and launched a new brand "Rex Festival Blue (DASSAI BLUE)".
In order to ensure the high quality of Dassai Blue, the winery will currently adjust the selection of origin according to the differences in climate and other conditions. Therefore, the winery will not use 100% of Yamada Kyoko made of Akuna in the United States.
DASSAI BLUE Dassai Blue carries the president's expectations for the American winery, but he does not deny that "it is difficult to brew the same quality as Japan in the United States." Although equipment, brewing barrels, etc. are transported from Japan to New York, Even Jiomi uses Japanese Yamada Kim as the main raw material, but it is quite challenging to make the ideal quality. Therefore, 7 barrels were scrapped at first, and the amount of about 40,000 bottles was discarded. The president's standards are quite consistent.
After exporting the Yamada Nishiki seeds from Japan and spending 4 years cultivating with Isbell Farm, Type 35 reinforces the brand’s commitment and dedication to make U.S.-made sake with Hudson Valley water and Arkansas rice.
