🇯🇵Araside 荒川 Japanese Single Cask Whisky 2010🥃

Arakawa whisky comes from a whisky distillery located in Chichibu, but the aging place is thousands of miles away from the whisky of the same factory. After the new wine is produced, it is sent to Scotland for aging, and the aging barrels are mainly aged whisky oak barrels.

Arakawa whisky is matured in barrels that have been aged in Glenrothes oak barrels since 1970, and after 7 years of maturation, it is an older age than whisky from the same factory. It is bottled in 304 casks and undiluted.

Exudes aromas of oak, cinnamon and pear. The palate is quite smooth, very sweet in the mouth, and then slowly out of the oak aroma, and then ends with tea and woody aromas.

Let you experience the finished product of the same whisky distillery, but a separate whisky matured in other countries.
