Blackadder Bottling Factory was founded in 1995 as a small independent bottler founded by Swedish connoisseur Robin Tucek. Product sales are not based on quantity. Blackadder is a very young company, but its business philosophy is very traditional. They want people to drink back the tradition of single barrel original wine a hundred years ago, and only bottle the original flavor of whiskey. Therefore, Blackadder declined modern whiskey production processes such as cold filtration, adding water to dilute the alcohol content, and adding caramel for coloring.
Blackadder's Row Cask series emphasizes 100% the original flavor of the original wine in the barrel. In order to ensure that the quality of the wine in the bottle is consistent with that of the original wine in the barrel, Raw Cask is almost never filtered during bottling. It only uses a sieve to remove larger debris from the oak barrel, and then manually puts the original wine in the barrel directly. In the bottle, raw wine that has not been chilled and filtered will generally have a white suspension formed by lipid crystals, but in the Raw Cask series of products, you can even easily find black oak barrel chips.
