Aroma: Violet

Palate: Sweet dark forest berry jam, delicate after ripe plums, a hint of orange zest, fine tobacco notes.

Conclusion: Medium complexity, somewhat demanding tannins, salty, mineral, freshly structured, sour cherries on the finish, delicate vegetal nuances in the finish.

93James SucklingA dense, chewy wine for the vintage, with plum, currant and blackberry character. Full body, polished tannic texture and a bright finish. Very pretty indeed. This needs time to soften. Try in 2019.
Château Lynch-Bages is located in the commune of Pauillac in the Médoc region of Bordeaux. Made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon, this Grand Cru wine is known for its structure and intensity and can be aged for 20 years or more. It ranks among the best in the region. In 1855 it was rated fifth in the Bordeaux classification.

Château Lencière-Beaux-Arts is a famous winery located in the Pauillac region of Bordeaux, France. Managed by Jean-Charles Cazes and owned by the Cazes family, the vineyards cover 90 hectares. The 2011 vintage was characterized by a warm, dry spring and a cooler summer with some heat waves and storms. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand in the vineyard, using a new destemming system and optical sorting machine. The wine was aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, 65% of which were new.
