Our idyllic high-alticude, geologically complex vineyard is enhanced by the most exacting no shortcuts natural practices. Hand-picking and double-sorting result in deliberately tiny yields and superlative fruit quality. Small cuvées in the state-of-the-art gravity fed winery, and meticulous assemblage ensure that our wines are scrupulously

hand-crafred in our family's unwavering pursuit of purity and quality in winemaking. Our front label tells the story and philosophy behind Chêne Bleu wines.

Note

Named Astralabe after the secret son of Abelard and Heloise, famous real-life lovers in French medicval history, this Grenache and Syrah blend is made using a combination of both traditional and ultra-modem winemaking practices. We enjoy bringing history and tradition up-to-date, hence in the label the lovers, famous for the letters they once wrote, are now skyping with each other on their flatscreens.

Rich wich aromas and flavours of black fruit and spice, and with a smooth, velvety texture and along aromatic finish, this is a versatile food wine, which can be enjoyed with dishes such as hearty stews and roasts. Serve it with is es sm temperature at 16c (61°F) for full appreciation.
