Domini Veneti Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 2019

Although Cantina Valpolicella Negrar has been producing quality wines for 85 years, Domini Veneti was created in 1989 to showcase the distinctive terroirs in the Valpolicella Classico area. Working with more than 230 farmers (who farm over 700 hectares), Domìni Veneti is extremely responsible & show the utmost respect to the environment.

In 1989, Cantina Valpolicella Negar started an extensive quality project that pinpointed locations particularly suited to vineyards. This in-depth study was conducted alongside wine-growers in order to produce high quality wines. Over the years their meticulous work has enabled the production of new cru wines and the Domìni Veneti label.

Domìni Veneti is the name used for the best wines in the winery. These wines are named after the lands rules by the Serenissima Republic of Venice in the 16th century when it was at the height of the power. The Valpolicella area came under its rule around that time. Today, the golden age is reflected in the quality and reputation of the wines. As a result of this long-term project, the winery now produces the most exquisite wines that capture the hallmarks of the region.

Colour : Deep garnet red.

Aroma : Intense and persistent: ethereal, fruity with hints of cherries, dried prunes, flowers, and spices.

Flavour : Full-bodied and very smooth, with beautifully balanced velvety tannins.

This Amarone della Valpolicella is the most famous product and represents the Domìni Veneti company's concept of balance between elegance and structure. It is sourced from grapes from the Valpolicella Classica region and dried in drying lofts. It is aged in large oak barrels for at least 18 months and then in bottle for 6-8 months.
