🇯🇵Ichiro's 「綠葉」 Double Distilleries Pure Malt Whisky🥃

As the latest distillery that has been built in Japan, the whisky it launches will immediately become the focus of the market every time. The low output is one of the factors, but more importantly, its quality wins. With such a young whisky That said, Chichibu is full of finesse without losing to other equally young Japanese whiskys.

On the other hand, Chichibu's style is just like the name of its parent company Venture Whisky. It is a distillery that is adventurous and innovative, and will try different methods to distill and age whisky, such as using sake barrels to distill and age whisky. Aging, using barley malt produced in different places as raw materials, etc., are all aimed at making better whisky and exploring the unique style of Chichibu whisky.

In 2010, a batch of malt whisky named Ichiro’s Malt with red leaf, gold leaf and green leaf was produced, as well as blended whisky with white leaf and brown leaf. A few of the 400 casks left by the grandfather in appropriate proportions are added to this batch, bringing the efforts of three generations into one.

Ichiro's malt double-distilled liquor (DD) is precipitated in February 2008 using malt whisky from Hanyu Puncheon Cask and malt whisky from Chichibu sherry barrels and Japanese oak barrels. Japanese oak barrels, Chichibu's climate, perfect Matured, this wine was voted the best non-Scotch blended whisky in the non-champagne category of the World Whisky Awards (WWA World Whisky Awards) 2009. Ichiro's malt name comes from Hito Ichiro, the grandson of the founder of Hanyu Distillery.

Colour: Bright gold.

Smell: Sweet and round, honeysuckle, apple, oak, fresh wood, sandalwood.

Taste: Nutmeg, cinnamon, peppercorns

Finish: Slightly sweet, oak, mint, ginger, licorice.
