🇯🇵Ichiro’s Chichibu 「Silver Leaf」 Malt & Grain 505 World Blended🥃

Silver Leaf 505 is not a regular wine of the Leaf series. It is a special wine for Japanese restaurants and bars launched by Chichibu Distillery for the 2019 new crown epidemic.

Silver Leaf 505 is different from other leaf recipes. Although it is also a blended whisky, the proportion of malt whisky used is higher than that of grain whisky, and the alcohol content has increased to 50.5% instead of the conventional 46%. This is also the origin of the "505" in the name. .

The wine is medium-bodied and easy to drink, with a hint of mint, a certain level of spice layering, a good complexity of pepper, sauce, and woody notes, and the aroma of dried and candied fruit is embellished at the end, with a faint aroma of dried apples and a touch of peel. Moderate tannins support the layers, and the finish is medium and long. Leather, a little oil, comfortable ginger astringency, a little dead leaf atmosphere, good acidity, thick woody tone but not greasy, beautiful tannins, mint flavor that lasts for a long time
