🇯🇵Ichiro's 「黑葉」 Classical Edition World Blended Whisky🥃

"Classic Smoked Black Leaf" has an alcohol content of 48% ABV and a capacity of 700ml. At present, the official has not clarified whether it is a regular wine or a limited edition, but only a small amount is currently available in Japan.

Every wine produced by Chichibu Distillery is personally blended by Ichiro Hito. Although the Chichibu Distillery is small, Chichibu's various processes, from malt selection, crushing, saccharification, fermentation, distillation to barreling, are all detailed to the extreme. Chichibu is a young winery. They try to weigh as much as possible and observe the subsequent results.

Half of the wine produced in Chichibu is matured in bourbon barrels, and the other half enters various types of oak barrels. In order to find the most suitable wine barrel, Chichibu has tried almost all available barrels: bourbon barrels, pig's head barrels, sherry barrels, wine barrels, port barrels, Madeira barrels, Mizura barrels, rum barrels , cognac barrels, tequila barrels, beer barrels... In order to control precisely, Chichibu even began to make its own barrels, with 2 full-time employees in charge. You must know that there are only 14 employees in the entire winery. They made barrels from Mizuna wood that was sold at auction, and also made Chibidaru, a wooden barrel unique to Chichibu.

On the other hand, Chichibu's style is just like the name of its parent company Venture Whisky. It is a distillery that is adventurous and innovative, and will try different methods to distill and age whisky, such as using sake barrels to distill and age whisky. Aging, using barley malt produced in different places as raw materials, etc., are all aimed at making better whisky and exploring the unique style of Chichibu whisky.
