🥃Kilchoman Casado Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Limited Edition)🥃

Established in 2005, Kilchoman was the first new distillery to be built on Islay in 124 years and is one of the few whisky distilleries in Scotland to remain independent and produce whisky in the traditional way.

A limited edition single malt whisky from Kilchoman, Casado (Portuguese for marriage, Chinese for "fusion").

The original wine was first matured in Bourbon barrels for 6 years, and then transferred to 38 Portuguese red grape barrels for 2 years of fusion (Married in Portuguese Red Wine Vats).

Intensely smoky with notes of peat, ripe pear, cherry, peach, marzipan and the sea, accompanied by black pepper, stone fruit and lemon, a sweet mouth-filling finish with spice and red Raspberry, and lingering in the mouth.

Peat level: 50 PPM
