Legend has it that the King of Islay seen on the top of Lagavulin is not an ordinary cat, but a fierce lion strutting in the castle of Islay, a victor who has just ascended the throne, strong and full of arrogance.

This deep and battle-hardened beast has won the crown with fire and ferocity and represents one of Scotland's hottest distilleries.

From Islay's competitive history, there is a sense of triumph. As one of the oldest wineries on the island, Lagavulin's early leaders, James Logan Mackie, and his indomitable nephew Peter J. Mackie - known as "Restless Pete" in order to make Wines are known for their uninterrupted effort to acquire powerful flavours. When you taste this legendary wine, you can taste their tenacious spirit with every sip.

The seductive golden hue is easily misleading. At the first taste, the smell of soft lemon, salty sweet and roasted tea leaves is like the gentle roar of a rare beast. Before the long, warm and gradually dry finish, the smell of burnt black wood lingers in the mouth, accompanied by pepper Stimulates the palate with billowy smokiness.

This classic 12-year-old Lagavulin is amazing in every way: the king of Islay, at the top, brave and proud.

Diageo, a long-established wine merchant, once again crossed the boundaries of Scotch whisky this year, bringing together the best single malt Scotch whisky and launching the Special Releases series called "Legends Untold".

Curated by Diageo Master Blender Dr Craig Wilson, the new collection features a distinctive and legendary selection of eight different brands of whisky, each with a smell, taste and appearance that ties in with this year's 'Legends Untold' theme.

The new collection has aroused the curiosity of whisky lovers, Dr Wilson said: "The mysterious charm of this year's collection is that it shows the original style of the distillery. We draw inspiration from each whisky, revealing new layers and depths of each flavor and essence, and then reveal the legend within them."

For this note series, the brand enlisted illustrator Ken Taylor to paint a graphic-led design for each decanter, inspired by the myths, flavours, casks, decanters and packaging of each local Scottish distillery. Capture their traditional essence. Each wine bottle is printed with its own QR code, which is linked to the "multi-sensory experience" of the winery's legends and stories, leading you to experience each legend.
