Muirhead's Silver Seal 銀璽 2010 13 Years Old Small Batch Sherry Cask Finish

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Elegant floral and fruity aroma with a hint of malt sweetness.

Taste: The wine is lively and unrestrained, with aromas of black dates, candied plums and candied licorice filling the mouth.

Finish: Warm taste with spicy aftertaste.

Story

Muirhead's Silver Seal Bottling Factory was established in 1824 by Charles Muirhead and Sons Lid., specialising in blending premium Scotch whisky. In 1920 the company was bought by Macdonald & Muir Distillers, now known as Glenmorangie Company. The plant was acquired in 2008 by the independent family business in Picardy, France, which is also the owner of the Tulibardine distillery. The limited edition series of precious vintage wines are carefully selected and tasted by chief wine taster Matthew John, matured in oak barrels, and bottled when they are in the best condition.
