Artist Shu Yamamoto was born in Yokohama, Japan in 1948. He graduated from Aichi Prefectural University of Arts and currently lives in Utah, USA, with his family. In 2007, he accidentally saw his son imitating Van Gogh's self-portrait, but the painting was not Van Gogh but the face of a cat. As a cat lover, he was inspired to use this as an opportunity to paint two of his favorite paintings. Elements - "cat" and "art" are combined into creative elements, and the world's famous paintings begin to be fully "meow-ified". From ancient Egypt, the Greek era, the Renaissance, realism, surrealism, Asian art... So far, he has accumulated more than 500 cat-like works, including oil paintings, watercolors, sketches, electronic paintings and other media , in addition to retaining the characteristics of each art genre, he also adds the world view of cats. Looking at his works one after another, it is like being taught a lesson in the art history of cats! Therefore, "Cat Art Museum" became the theme name of this series of works exhibited all over the world.
THE WHISKYFIND is an emerging independent whisky bottler in Asia. In 2016, it became internationally famous for its "Classic of Mountains and Seas" series of whiskys. Following the launch of "Zheng Wen Three Kingdoms" in 2018, it once again cooperated with world-class artist Osamu Yamamoto to use whisky to interpret a story. "Judith Meow I ~ Original painting: Judith I"
The original painting "Judith I" is a masterpiece by the Austrian artist Klimt before she entered her golden peak. Different from the traditional image of the heroine in the Bible, Klimt's Judith shines golden. The light of the whole body exudes fatal temptation!
After being transformed by Mr. Osamu Yamamoto, the original painting's stunning eyes, gorgeous appearance, and visual feast of gold foil materials were completely preserved, making Judy the cat in the painting seem to be full of vitality and commanding its owner: "Be obedient. Bring the jars up!"
We feature a rising star from Wales - Penderyn - one of the few distilleries in the whiskey industry led by female distillers. This barrel is distilled using the distillery's unique "Faraday still" and matured in "3-year-old bourbon barrels and 7-year-old Madeira barrels". It blooms with a fragrant candied fruit aroma and a full and juicy taste, which can be paired with coffee. , cocoa, leather and other constantly changing levels of expression. It is only 10 years old but shows mature heritage and tension, with a strong impact like a painting!
