Description
The origin is "making a white wine (Koshu) for everyday enjoyment", and the word "Gris" is derived from the French word "gris", meaning "pink gray", which is the color of Koshu's skin, and "de" is derived from French , meaning "of".Gris de Koshu is made from grapes grown in Yamanashi Prefecture. It fully expresses the personality of the Koshu grape variety: fruity, refreshing acidity, and moderate umami.

In 2013, Gris de Koshu won the highest award (trophy) in the white wine category at the Decanter Asia Wine Awards, becoming the representative white wine in Asia.
Gris de Koshu is also the label of Yoshinori Ohsumi, 2017 Nobel laureate and professor emeritus at Tokyo Institute of Technology, who was selected for the commemorative gala for his research on autophagy.
Grace Gris De Koshu, made from Koshu grapes in Yamanashi Prefecture, is the most famous Japanese white wine - "Kimura baijiu". In the episode of "Grand Maison Tokyo" starring Kimura Takuya, it subtly portrays the ingredients specifications, techniques and services of Michelin-starred restaurants, including food and wine pairings.
