The Whiskyfind 金門水獺Blair Athol 2008 11YO Hogshead

"Enjoy Rare Series" is a combination of Taiwan's endangered animals and rare wines and wineries. It is hoped that through this imagery, it will arouse the attention to the ecological environment.

All good things can be preserved forever. In the future, there will be more rare animals in Taiwan. Between large and small wineries in Scotland.

Distillery introduction:

Blair Athol Distillery, founded in 1798, is currently owned by the Diageo Wine Group. During the period, it has been expanded several times. It is now elegantly designed and well maintained.

It is covered with ivy outside, and the Flora & Fauna wine label is printed with otters.

It is because the water source of the winery, Allt Dour Burn, is also known as the River of Otters. The winery is located in the south of Highland Blair, a beautiful Victorian town of Pitlochry-Pitlochry,

which is listed as a One of the most beautiful places in Europe.

tasting notes

Aroma: Fresh malt, vanilla, cream, toffee, fruit fudge, milk chocolate, earthy, herbal, floral, woody, slightly animalic.

Palate: Malt sweetness, fruit gummy, fleshy, hazelnut syrup, sweet fruity, woody, animal fur.

Finish: Fruit jelly, spice, cocoa beans, wood, cream, earth.
