Description

The different vineyards located between Borgheri and Bibiona are planted on dark soils of loam and clay. The winemaking process requires individual management of the grapes, with fermentation and maceration taking around 15 days.

After 12 months of aging in wooden barrels, the three varieties are blended in bottle for several months. Whether they're from Piedmont or Tuscany, Gaja's products are outstanding.

Aged for 18 months in wooden barrels. This fine wine is easy to drink, but on the other hand it has a very complex aroma.

Intense and deep ruby color. Intense bouquet with hints of ripe red fruit blended with coffee, cloves, tobacco, licorice and dark chocolate.

On the palate it is rich, juicy and balanced with good tannins.
