Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey is the eldest son of Marc Colin. He worked in the family from 1994 to 2005, but as early as 2001 he started a wine merchant with his wife Caroline. In 2005 Colin-Morey started his own estate with his share of 6 hectares of vineyard from Marc Colin.

But his complete line of wines also includes Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault and Grands Crus Bâtard-Montrachet, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet and even Le Montrachet, all produced from purchased grapes.
All of his wines are kept in barrels for up to 18 months, the bottles are sealed with cork-top wax, and the wines are also bottled unfiltered.
His own holdings include several parcels of 1er Crus from Saint-Aubin, such as "La Chatenière", "En Remilly" and "Les Champlots".
In Chassagne-Montrachet, Colin-Morey owns plots in the 1er Cru vineyards "Les Chevenottes" and "Caillerets".
Most of his wines are made from Chardonnay grapes, but Colin-Morray also produces some red wines from Pinot Noir from St. Aubin and Santenay.
