Berry Bros and Rudd Finest 40 Years Old Blended Scotch Whisky

This exquisite 40 year-old blend has been fashioned by our master blenders from some of Berry's oldest cask reserves to produce a whisky of rare complexity and balance. The nose exudes soft, ripe tropical fruits, coffee beans and subtle spice culminating in a rich textured palate and delicious long lingering finish.

This Whisky is a 2016 release with only 1600 bottles being released. Berry Bros & Rudd has reportedly blended a Speyside 40 Years Old Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky and Grain Whisky for this bottling.

Berry Brothers & Rudd originally established as a fine wine merchant in the late 17th century received a Royal Warrant from King Edward VII in 1903. Since then BBR has been bottling single malt whisky and even bottled their first ever blend, Cutty Sark, as early as in 1923.
