Alain Brune Gevrey Chambertin 2021

Alain started to work in the vineyard for Pierre Overnoy when he was 14 years old. He moved in his twenties to Bourgogne, Morey Saint Denis at Guy Coquard, and work there for a while. He started to make wine for himself but his friends asked him for his wines so he started a little négoce twenty seven years ago.

18 months of ageing in old barrels, no intervention on his wines, always unfined and unfiltered, sulfite minimum at bottling.

Never exported, HK is the first.

The wines of Gevrey-Chambertin express all the richness and diversity of the Burgundy terroir in a variety of styles. Very colorful, their strong aromatic expression evokes blackcurrant berries and other red or black berries, with notes of licorice. Powerful, they have rich softness with tannins and good levels of acidity.
