Description
Azienda Agricola Sciara Sensazione di Lava
This wine highlights the significant influence of altitude on wine quality, made from grapes grown exclusively in the single vineyard Tartaraci. The wine is aged for 19 months in French oak barrels fire-toasted with volcanic rocks from Etna, hence the name Sensazione di Lava. All vineyard work is done entirely by hand with natural methods, without irrigation or chemical treatments, preserving the purest expression. The vineyard is home to numerous vines over 100 years old, which is very rare and precious in the market. The combination of ancient vines, volcanic soil, and high altitude results in limited production but exceptional quality.
