Dalva 40 Years Old Port

95 pts Revista de Vinhos - Amber colour and rich, deep aroma, very complex , reminiscent of tobacco, crystallized fruit, fruit cake, hazelnuts, coffee. Full bodied, developed and with a fresh acidity giving it a persistent and elegant after taste.

Winemaking:

The Aged Tawny matured in oak for long and variable periods of time, in which the age indicated on the label corresponds to the approximate average of several Colheita Port wines in the blend.

Tasting Notes:

Amber colour and rich, deep aroma, very complex , reminiscent of tobacco, crystallized fruit, fruit cake, hazelnuts, coffee. Full bodied, developed and with a fresh acidity giving it a persistent and elegant after taste.

Store and Serve Advices:

Serve slightly chilled, between 12 and 13ºC, in an appropriate glass.

Food Pairing:

Goes with all types of desserts, especially those prepared with eggs or nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts).
