Domaine Alain Chavy Bourgogne Chardonnay 2020

Great value Burgundy Chardonnay from one of Burgundy's most renowned producers. The Chavy family has had roots in Pliny for 200 years, but has traditionally sold wine to vintners. In 1976, they began bottling under their own label - and the rest is history!

Alain Chavy Bourgogne Blanc is produced from the young vines of a 17-acre vineyard in Puligny-Montrachet. Alain is fermented for 12 months in a 400 liter oak barrel with up to 10% new Burgundy. The wines here display flavors of green apple and lemon, with firm acidity and a distinct minerality. A hint of new French oak adds body and subtle richness.

Aroma: Green Apple, Citrus, Vanilla

Palate: Full-bodied, creamy palate with citrus, apple, vanilla flavors and a hint of minerality.
