Domaine Faiveley Bourgogne Chardonnay 2021

Domaine Faiveley Bourgogne is a well-balanced and full-bodied Burgundy Chardonnay that has been aged for 8-10 months in Faiveley's cellar, a small portion of which has been aged in oak barrels.

After being founded by Pierre Faiveley in 1825, Domaine Faiveley is still run today by the seventh generation of the Erwan and Eve Faiveley family.

The Bourgogne Chardonnay by Joseph Faiveley is composed of different locations in Burgundy, all of which have undergone strict quality controls. You can tell that from the quality in the glass, everything is just right here. The aging takes place partly in barriques, the proportion varies depending on the vintage characteristics, the aim is a light toasty note.

2021 is a classically structured vintage, which can also be enjoyed young due to its mature acidity can. A fine note of wood accompanies this rather fresh Chardonnay excellently. A very nice introduction to the world of great white Burgundy wines.

It has a very persistent floral-fruity nose, well balanced on the palate with lively peach and floral notes.
