GlenDronach 18 Year Old Tawny Port Finish is a classic limited edition from the Billy Walker era. It was first aged for an extended period in European Oloroso sherry casks, then finished in rare Tawny Port casks, resulting in a unique sweetness and sherry balance.

Flavor Characteristics

Aroma: A rich opening of dried fig, plum, toffee, and sherry jam, accompanied by almond, dark chocolate, cinnamon, and a subtle Port grape sweetness, creating a sophisticated and layered flavor profile.

Palmistry: Full-bodied and oily, the palate bursts with raisins, crème brûlée, candied orange peel, and sherry oak. Tawny Port notes add nutty, red berry, and subtle acidity. The mid-palate transitions to spice and cocoa, resulting in a firm yet rounded structure.

Finish: Extremely long, with notes of toffee, black tea, dried fruit, and lightly dry oak, warm and persistent.
