Herradura Tequila Anejo

Note

Rich aromas of agave, chocolate, pineapple and dried cherry appear along with oak and vanilla tones. in the mouth, this is a rich and mouth-coating spirit, with flavors similar to the nose creating a lively counterpoint to the cinnamon and caramel also found. the finish is long and lasting, with gentle fruit notes giving way to a soft cinnamon note with hints of earth and minerality.

Story

The official history of Herradura begins with a man named Félix López, who initially worked as a caretaker at the winery of Josefa Salazar, the owner of the winery at the time. In 1870, López took over the distillery and agave fields and registered it as a tequila producer under the name Hacienda San José del Refugio. The name was later changed again by his son Aurelio López Rosales to become the current Herradura .
