To welcome the 2026 Lunar New Year, Milden Distillery in the Netherlands continues its Zodiac series tradition, once again launching the "Milden Year of the Horse Commemorative Edition Sherry Cask Spirit" exclusively for the Taiwan market, fully matured in First Fill.

"Year of the Horse Commemorative Edition Single Malt Whisky Spirit." Continuing the Milden Zodiac series tradition, it perfectly blends auspicious Eastern imagery with exquisite Dutch distilling techniques, presenting a unique festive flavor.

This spirit is fully matured in century-old sherry casks, concentrating a deep aroma and rich layers, making it an annual collector's item that whisky enthusiasts should not miss. The image of a galloping horse, symbolizing strength, freedom, and vitality, running in vibrant colors across a golden wheat field, against a deep red background, creates a strong festive atmosphere, adding to the collectible and gift value of the Year of the Horse Commemorative Edition.

Milden Distillery's "Galloping Horse" design carries New Year's blessings from the Netherlands, perfectly blending the auspicious symbolism of Eastern culture with the precision and meticulousness of Dutch winemaking techniques. The richness and complexity of the sherry cask spirit are transformed into a passionate yet elegant style.

This galloping horse of Milden, depicted with splashes of vibrant color, captures the speed and energy of the PX sherry cask's intense sweetness and citrus brightness: a spirited start, a steady stride, and a long finish, symbolizing Milden's auspicious beginnings of "instant success and lasting prosperity" in Taiwan.

Palp Characteristics:

Deep amber color. A rich and layered aroma, with ripe fruit notes combined with the freshness of lemon and citrus, balanced with the sweet and smooth First Fill PX sherry. A rich and smooth palate, with flavors of raisins, candied fruit, and roasted nuts intertwined with citrus aromas, subtly revealing warm leather and cocoa notes. With a long, elegant finish, aromas of candied fruit and spices linger on the palate, making it an ideal choice for celebrating the New Year or for collectors.
