🇯🇵Junenmyo(Red Label) Blended Whisky Ten Years Ming (Red Label) Japanese Whisky🥃

The Saburomaru Distillery from the Hokuriku region is one of the few distilleries in Japan that focuses on "peat-flavored whisky". Since 1952, Wakazu Shuzo has been the origin of whisky brewing. In 2018, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Wakazu Shuzo, a series of products were launched, and "Ten Years Ming" came into being.

Ten years Ming was originally a place name, adjacent to Sanlang Maru. In this place rich in rape flowers, the extracted rapeseed oil was the main fuel for oil lamps in ancient times. The kerosene produced was of such high quality that it brought light to thousands of households in Japan, hence the name Tenenmei. The moral of ten-year-old whisky is that it can enter every household like an oil lamp.

This is a blended whisky, selected from heavy peat Scotch grain whisky and blended with about half of its own malt whisky. Heavy, peaty style with mild smoky sweet malt flavors. Ruohe's consistent peat style has a high degree of balance and is comfortable and smooth to drink. Just like an oil lamp, it is simple but just right to warm the heart of drinkers.
