Kanosuke 嘉之助蒸溜所 Single Malt Whisky (2023 Edition)

The fifth Japanese single malt whiskey of Kanosuke Distillery is officially released. This bottle of Kanosuke 2023 limited edition Japanese single malt whiskey uses smoked malt. These liquors are distilled between 2018 and 2019 In terms of oak barrels, the unblended original wine is mainly matured in bourbon barrels and blended in multiple barrels, showing the strength of the original wine to the tasters.

"Kanosuke 2023 Limited Edition" uses smoked malt liquor distilled from 2018 to 2019. Bourbon barrels are the main barrels used for ripening wine, and other types of oak barrels are blended. Bottle it now and enjoy its soft sweetness and lingering smoky palate.

In the past, the Kanosuke Distillery has always focused on non-peated whiskey, but this time the work uses the original liquor distilled from smoked malt as the focus, making the original soft sweetness more complex. When you smell the aroma, the smoky smell immediately rushes to your heart, pour it into the glass, and as time goes by, the smoky smell gradually weakens and turns into an elegant and sweet flavor. The body of the wine shows a moist feeling in the mouth, not like the smoky smell when you first smell the aroma, but in the aftertaste, the elegant toasted and smoky taste buds slowly emerge, bringing a very comfortable ending. This Kinosuke 2023 limited edition retains the soft characteristics of the past, and at the same time it is closer to the sweetness of the Scottish Highlands, and it is also close to the smoky level of Islay whiskey, showing a wonderful balance.
