🥃Kilchoman PX Finish Cask Strength Single Cask Release 2011/2017🥃

Founded in 2005, Kilchoman is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland. A farm located on the rugged west coast of Islay is the first new distillery built on Islay in 124 years. Kilchoman allows everyone to see the advantages of traditional malt whiskey distillation. As one of the few distilleries that still maintains the traditional floor malting method, it is also the only distillery in Scotland that grows its own barley, from barley cultivation to packaging. bottles, all can be completed in the winery. Kilchoman is regarded as a classic Islay style whisky.

Tasting Notes~

Aromas of stewed fruit, citrus and rich smoke. Toffee, grilled peach, dark chocolate and coastal smoke. Long finish, intense sweetness with refreshing hints of smoke and red berries.
