The Bea family of Montefalco embodies a centuries-old philosophy of living and working in harmony with nature. Deeply rooted in their land and traditions, they produce natural wines without synthetic chemicals or forced stabilization, allowing the true character of each vintage and terroir to shine through. Led by Giampiero Bea and supported by his family, their work reflects a profound respect for biodiversity, cultural heritage, and the rhythms of the earth. Every step of the process—from vineyard to bottle—is carried out with patience and care, guided by observation, lunar cycles, and ancestral knowledge. Their wines are not the result of industrial standardization, but rather of thoughtful agriculture that seeks balance between human hands and natural forces. The result is honest, healthy, expressive wines that speak of place, time, and tradition.

This brilliant white from the legendary Paolo Bea estate is made from a regional version of Trebbiano called "Spoletino." The wine spends four years on the lees, giving it a golden hue and fleshy complexity. Dry, full-bodied, and with striking minerality, here the vines are trained high off the ground, a technique that was meant to leave room to plant other crops underneath. The wine takes his name from the Italian work for tree, "albero."
