🥃Qipology x Carmen Tam 1st Collection Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Deanston Distillery)🥃

A local cheongsam designer Julie Liu recently cooperated with whisky expert Whisky Heros to launch four series of cheongsam whisky spring, summer, autumn and winter, and the first wave is the limited edition of summer flowers.

Julie is a Hong Kong-born designer. She studied business and fashion purchasing at the University of Warwick in the UK and the Istituto Marangoni in Italy. After returning to Hong Kong, she worked in a number of high-end fashion brands. In 2017, she founded Qipology, a fashionable cheongsam brand.

With her experience and sense of touch, the cheongsam has been brought from tradition to modernity, becoming an elegant and fashionable garment. As for Whisky Heros, it is a local whisky and technology start-up company, focusing on bringing future technological developments into the whisky world.

Deanston Distillery, the whisky factory we are cooperating with, was formerly a cotton factory and a weaving factory, and it also has a relationship with fashion.

The cheongsam whisky launched this time is a combination of Chinese and Western culture, tradition and innovation. Since whisky has always been masculine, and cheongsam is a dress for girls, why not use this to break the boundaries? The limited edition Deanston 2014 has been aged in bourbon barrels for 7 years. The theme is summer, with fresh floral fragrance as the main axis. It is like a bottle of elegant summer perfume. The strong and soft flavor just reflects the essence of Qipao whisky. This fine wine has aromas of white flowers, cloves, ginger, honey, candy, and a hint of saltiness. The palate has complex aromas of nuts, honey, cotton candy, white pepper, and cream. When you taste it, you feel like you are in midsummer in the bright scenery.
