The BenRiach 17 Years Olds Solstice Second Edition - Heavily Peated / Port Finish

BenRiach Distillery's single malt whisky has won numerous awards in recent years. BenRiach single malt whisky allows you to experience different flavors of whisky at once. The whiskies produced by Banrick are known for their different personalities. Starting from the traditional classic series, it innovatively launches the only heavy peated whisky produced in Speyside, the barrel-changing series with unique characteristics and diverse flavors, as well as the limited edition hardcover series and the single barrel series with unique personality and excellent original flavor. Each one is an ultimate taste that is admired by people. BenRiach's excellent quality and flavor can only be understood by experiencing it in person.

BenRiach "SOLSTICE" is a descriptive term for this whisky, which is distilled from heavily peated malted barley, aged in ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in tawny port from the Douro region in northern Portugal.

Rose red with copper brown, very pleasing to the eye.

The fruity aromas include stewed summer berries (strawberries, blackcurrants and redcurrants) and a thick peat flavor. The ethereal wine flavor becomes more and more obvious.

The palate has toasted nut flavors that gradually move towards heavy peat. Clean and very alluring, delicate raisin and sugar-coated fruit flavors linger on the tongue. The aftertaste is smooth and long, with the fruity, fortified wine and peat flavors blending very evenly.
