🇯🇵Yamazaki Yamazaki Single Malt Japanese Whisky🥃

Echoing the recent trend of producers turning to unaged whiskys, Yamazaki Distillery has released an interesting Japanese whisky that is distinctly different. Suntory's Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve is a blend of malts of different ages and barrel types, from ex-red wine barrels matured for about three years, aged sherry matured malts for about 20 years, and Mizunara barrels, also known as Japanese oak barrels, for ten years. During two years.

Amber gold exterior. Understated and clean, with notes of vanilla, cocoa malt and honey cereal; there's fruitcake here too. Stew pears with more contact with air. Medium-dry, fresh delivery offers spicy orchard fruit, herbs and juicy malt notes. Finishes with a juicy and fruity finish. It's almost a floral scent in the aftertaste. Love the taste here. A perfect harmony of flavors and textures.
