Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2017

After the grapes have been carefully selected by hand, they are left to dry for 3 to 4 months in shallow wooden trays only one level deep, paying attention to the spacing between the bunches and the air circulation. The dried grapes are then pressed and macerated in the skins for 15-20 days at a temperature of 23-25°C. The wine is aged for two and a half years in medium-sized Slavonian oak boxes and then in bottle for one year.

Flavors of ripe wild berries, smoked chocolate and coffee. This Amarone concentrates aromas and flavors of cherry and bay leaf. Very rich and supple on the palate, with very soft creamy tannins and a lingering finish, impressively balanced and showing great depth.
