🇯🇵Akkeshi Akkeshi Rainwater USUI Blended Japanese Whisky 2021🥃

The Japanese Akkeshi Distillery, which was completed and put into operation in 2016, is a very young whisky distillery. Its founder, Keiichi Toita, is also the owner of Kenten Co. Ltd., a food importer in Tokyo.

Toita is a veteran Islay peat whisky fan. In recent years, he found that high-quality Islay whisky has become increasingly difficult to find in Japan, so he decided to open his own peat whisky distillery.

On August 25, 2021, the 24 solar terms series of Akkeshi Distillery was officially launched, and the second "Rain Water" of the 24 solar terms series was released

With more than 50% Akkeshi malt whisky as the core, it is blended with Scottish grain whisky matured in Akkeshi distillery for more than three years.

Please enjoy the gorgeous harmony brought out by the unique sweet peat flavor of Hokkaido Akkeshi malt whisky and the lightness of grain whisky.
