BORGOGNO Giacomo Fossati Barolo DOCG 2019 ( JS93）

Borgogno Fossati 2019 is a premium Barolo blending traditional craftsmanship with terroir, showcasing rich layers of fruit and a tight structure, ideal for medium to long aging and cellaring.

Region and Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo, from Borgogno's renowned Fossati appellation, located in the Barolo DOCG, with limestone clay and sandy soils, facing southeast, conducive to grape ripening.

Winemaking and Aging: Aged for approximately four years in large Slavoanian oak barrels, followed by six months of bottle aging, preserving the classic Barolo structure and layers.

Flavor Profile: A bright ruby ​​red color, with complex and elegant aromas of black cherry, wild herbs, dried rose, mint, and orange peel. The palate is crisp and firm, with pronounced acidity, fine tannins, and a spicy finish.

Serving Suggestions: Best enjoyed decanted for 2-3 hours at approximately 18°C. Pairs well with baked meats, game, cheeses, and rich Italian cuisine.
