Taketsuru is named after the company's founder Masataka Taketsuru as a product name to commemorate his passion and contribution to whisky.

Taketsuru is Nikka's most important blended malt whisky. It is blended with long-term malt whisky original liquor matured by Yoichi Distillery and Miyagikyo Distillery. It has won the world's best blended malt whisky many times in the past. The honor, the high proportion of Miyagikyo malt gives people a fresh fruity bud, because it is made of sherry barrels, it has a full aroma, and it tastes very smooth, easy to drink, and approachable.

Aroma: Soft, fruity palate with spicy cloves and cherry mint

Taste: Rich fruit flavors, aromas and the gorgeous and varied taste of Miyagikyo whisky, which enhance the whole wine
