Yoichi, which is famous for its fruit trees, has become famous overseas with its whisky in recent years. Nikka Company, which established a whisky distillery in Yoichi, defeated Scotland, the birthplace of whisky, with two famous brews, Taketsuru 21 Years and Yoichi 20 Years. , won the honors of The Worlds Best Blended Whisky and The Worlds Best Single Malt Whisky in the Whisky Annual Evaluation. Yoichi Whisky Distillery was established in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, the father of Japanese whisky, after he returned from studying in Scotland. , I believe it is one of the reasons why Nikka whisky is king in the world.
