A'bunadh means "primitive" in Gaelic and is a tribute to Aberlour founder James Fleming.

A'bunadh is a handcrafted whisky from start to finish, with each batch carefully crafted and bottled at cask strength, resulting in a full-bodied sherry whisky.

Batch 76 of A'Bunadh from Aberlour! This expression is known for its particularly intense flavor, a result of maturation in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and bottling at bottle strength – this batch clocks in at a whopping 61.3% ABV.

Aroma: Buttered malt bread, peel, spearmint and Christmas cake.

Taste: dark chocolate mousse and richer Christmas cake. Cinnamon and white pepper give it some heat.

Finish: Slightly earthy on the finish, although dried fruits and sugared almonds remain.
