🇯🇵Akkeshi SHOSHO Blended Japanese Whisky 2021🥃

The Japanese Akkeshi Distillery, which was completed and put into operation in 2016, is a very young whisky distillery. Its founder, Keiichi Toita, is also the owner of Kenten Co. Ltd., a food importer in Tokyo. Toita is a veteran Islay peat whisky fan. In recent years, he found that high-quality Islay whisky has become increasingly difficult to find in Japan, so he decided to open his own peat whisky distillery.

On August 25, 2021, and June 22, 2021, Akkeshi Distillery released the twenty-four solar term series "Cold Dew, Rain, Ear Seed" and the fourth part "End of Heat".

More than 50% of the original liquor in Chushuzhong is malt whisky distilled by Akkeshi itself, and the rest of the original liquor is unmatured grain whisky imported from abroad and matured in the Akkeshi distillery. So strictly speaking, the end of heat is the same as the rain, it is the world's blended whisky.

"Chushu" is the unrestrained peat stored in this golden wheat field with Akkeshi malt,

Infused with manuka honey, fudge and orange zest.
