The Japanese Akkeshi Distillery, which was completed and put into operation in 2016, is a very young whisky distillery🏯Its founder Keiichi Toita is also the owner of Tokyo food importer Kenten Co. Ltd.🤪Toita is a senior Islay mud Coal whisky fan In recent years, he found that it is becoming more and more difficult to find high-quality Islay whisky in Japan🇯🇵So he decided to open a peat whisky distillery by himself😅

On August 25, 2021, the 24 solar terms series of Akkeshi Distillery was officially launched, and the 24 solar terms were released. Great heat".
The 8th of the 24 season series #GreatSummer! The main malt in this release is aged in Mizunara OAK oak casks from Hokkaido. It's peaty, but with a firm citrus freshness and sweetness. Spicy and refreshing aftertaste, it's a perfect summer dish. The gift box is designed with the theme of yukata (summer kimono) in commemoration of the summer festival that adds color to a summer evening in Akkeshi.
