Antoine Jobard Pommard 2021


The majority of Jobard's Pommard wines come from the Les Petits Noizons vineyard, located southeast of the hills above the 1er Cru line. Rue au Porc, meanwhile, is located below the village, adjacent to the D974.

The estate's vineyard is small, with vines averaging approximately 50 years old. The grapes are 100% destemmed, and fermented naturally, on the skins for approximately 10 days. The wine is then aged for 12 months in oak barrels (only 20% of which are new).

This vibrant, layered wine offers aromas of red cherry, raspberry, floral notes, and subtle earthiness. The palate is balanced, with fine-grained tannins and an elegant structure, resulting in a rounder, richer wine with a long finish.

This wine pairs well with grilled meats or game dishes, offering a lingering finish.
