The Harpy's Tale

Very Rare 13 Years Old

A marriage of whisky matured in sweet Sauternes wine casks, together with classic Ardbeg aged in ex-bourbon casks.

"Part 13: The new anthology series is named after the local legendary creature "Harpy" on the Isle of Islay. This legendary creature has the appearance of half human and half bird. This symbol Just like this whiskey "Ardbeg Anthology: The Harpy's Tale", it combines smoky and sweet flavors to create a legendary and unique character. Ardbbe's classic smoked peat style and the sweet flavor imparted by oak barrels will interpret the diversity of Ardbbe's whisky in a new look.

Color: amber

Aroma: Very unique oily feel, with notes of extra virgin olive oil, sweet heather, vanilla (coriander and sage) and smoked lemon peel. Adding a little water will release more oils, like linseed oil. , with a mild waxy texture, bursts into a burst of aromatic carbolic soap smell, and finally emerges the smell of caramel toasted brûlée

Taste: Smooth, oily, mouth-filling texture that leads to a rich, sweet, smoky mouthfeel with hints of oakmoss, molasses, candied anise and lovely sweet woody and balsamic notes. Continued Aromas of smoky apricot and eucalyptus oil

Finish: A long-lasting sweet and smoky finish with hints of cumin, cardamom and a hint of coconut
