Description
🥃Ardbeg An Oa Islay Single Malt Whisky🥃
Arbor Distillery, which is proud of "the best quality Islay malt whisky", was appreciated by connoisseurs all over the world when it was founded in 1815, because we present peat and smoke with Islay malt. The best and most complex and delicious. Arbor single malt whisky has the most detailed and rich taste among all the malt whiskys in Islay. , creating a perfectly balanced palate. Arbor has been selected as the "Global Whisky of the Year" by Jim Murray's Whisky Bible for three consecutive years.
Distilled from bourbon and sherry casks.
Using three different oak barrels (including newly fired oak barrels, PX sherry oak barrels and bourbon whisky oak barrels) for long-term aging, the wine fully absorbs the essence of the three oak barrels, and the wine is very full-bodied , the taste is mellow.
Contains toffee, star anise, banana and peach fruit aromas, with sweetness of citrus, chocolate and honey, with a persistent star anise and hickory finish. AN OA is named after The Oa peninsula on Islay, which is located west of Port Ellen.
As is usual for Ardbeg, this wine is a non-vintage (NAS) work, bottled at 46.8% abv and not bottled with condensation.
AN OA is a mixed barrel work, which is blended with the original wine aged in new toasted oak barrels (virgin barrels), PX sherry barrels and first fill bourbon barrels.
These three types of barrels are very attractive, and Ardbeg rarely mentioned works aged in the above three barrels in the past. Although AN OA is not a single cask/cask strength, the mixed barrel setting of AN OA is believed to have made everyone Ardbeg fans can't help but want to give it a try.
