Description

Ardnahoe Bholsa 50% is the second core product of Ardnahoe, a new distillery in Islay. It is a non-vintage (NAS) bottling, cask-strength, non-chill filtered, and free of artificial colors.

It is primarily matured with Oloroso sherry cask (50%), PX sherry quarter cask (5%), Oloroso quarter cask (5%), and Bourbon cask (40%), showcasing a perfect balance of peat and sherry.

Aroma: Christmas spices, light sea salt, medium smoke, cinnamon, red fruits (plum, raspberry), orange peel, walnut, and subtle floral notes.

Palmistry: Full-bodied and dry, with charcoal ash, sherry sweetness, sea salt, iodine notes, light smoke, floral notes, and earthy textures.

Finish: Medium-long, with pepper, creamy texture, sea salt, and minty gum notes.
