Bollinger La Grande Année 2015

La Grande Année Champagne is a benchmark of excellence and timeless elegance. At the heart of its production lies exceptional craftsmanship. One of the key artisanal techniques is vinification in oak barrels that are around 20 years old. This helps the wine develop complex aromas and, through micro-oxygenation, gives it remarkable aging potential.

At Bollinger, Bollinger La Grande Année 2015 is a powerful, oak-driven, concentrated, and structurally complete prestige vintage Champagne — a true expression of Bollinger’s signature style.

The 2015 vintage brings together grapes from 11 vineyards, of which about 79% are Grand Cru and 21% are Premier Cru. Fermentation takes place entirely in oak barrels, and the wine is sealed with natural cork during aging for more than twice the legally required period. The dosage is moderate at 8 grams per liter.

Aromas: gray apple, plum, apricot, honey, blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry, raspberry, followed gradually by almond, mango, vanilla, and woody notes.

Palate: full-bodied, layered, and texturally dense, with a creamy mousse, along with citrus acidity and a pronounced mineral finish.
