BORGOGNO Giacomo Fossati Barolo DOCG 2019 ( JS93）

Borgogno Fossati 2019 is a premium Barolo blending traditional craftsmanship with terroir, showcasing rich layers of fruit and a tight structure, ideal for medium to long aging and cellaring.

Region and Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo, from Borgogno's renowned Fossati appellation, located in the Barolo DOCG, with limestone clay and sandy soils, facing southeast, conducive to grape ripening.

Winemaking and Aging: Aged for approximately four years in large Slavoanian oak barrels, followed by six months of bottle aging, preserving the classic Barolo structure and layers.

Flavor Profile: A bright ruby red color, with complex and elegant aromas of black cherry, wild herbs, dried rose, mint, and orange peel. The palate is crisp and firm, with pronounced acidity, fine tannins, and a spicy finish.

Serving Suggestions: Best enjoyed decanted for 2-3 hours at approximately 18°C. Pairs well with baked meats, game, cheeses, and rich Italian cuisine.
