Bouchard Père & Fils Pommard 1er Cru 2019 is a classic Pommard Premier Cru red wine from the Côte de Beaune, a representative of robust fruit aromas. The warm 2019 vintage showcases rich red fruit and elegant tannins, with strong aging potential.


Winery: Bouchard Père & Fils, founded in 1731, one of the largest landowners in Burgundy, owning numerous Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards.


Region: Pommard 1er Cru (mostly referring to renowned vineyards such as Les Rugiens or Les Chanlins).


Vintage: 2019, full-bodied yet tightly structured, with an alcohol content of approximately 13.5-14%.


Aromas: Red berries (black cherry, raspberry), wild berries, tea, ferns, orange peel, with subtle animal and oak notes.

Palate: Medium to medium-full body, intensely fruity (blackberry, plum), with peppery spice and nuts; smooth yet powerful tannins.

Finish: Long and mineral, with oak, spice, and red fruit notes; a slightly dry finish.

2019 Vintage Characteristics: The warm vintage makes Pommard more open and fruity than traditionally, but retains Pommard's signature "firm, earthy" character. Juicy on the palate, with depth in the mid-palate.
