Bouchard Pere & Fils Beaune 1er Cru Les Teurons 2020

Founded in 1731, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of Burgundy’s oldest wine merchants and one of the largest landowners in the Côte d’Or. Over the centuries, the House has acquired highly renowned parcels for a total of 321 acres with 30 acres classified as Grands Crus and 183 as Premiers Crus.

Bouchard Père & Fils’ was awarded the highest environmental certification in France, the “Haute Valeur Environnementale”, by the French Government in 2015.

"The 2020 Beaune Les Teurons 1er Cru comes from 2.3-hectares on steep slopes that is rich in limestone. Black plum, dark chocolate and touches of date comes together on the quite plush nose. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, flecks of white pepper with just a light bitter edge on the finish. Enjoy this over 12-15 years."
