Bulldog London Dry Gin is a modern take on classic London Dry, distilled in England from 100% British wheat at a distillery with over 250 years of gin‑making history. It is built on a recipe of 12 botanicals sourced from around the world, combining traditional ingredients like juniper, coriander, angelica, cassia and lemon peel with more exotic elements such as dragon’s eye (longan), lotus leaf, white poppy and lavender. Bottled at 40% ABV, it aims to be smooth, flavourful and highly mixable for a wide range of cocktails.

Made from 100% British wheat spirit and 12 botanicals: juniper, coriander, angelica root, cassia bark, lemon peel, orris root, liquorice, almond, plus Bulldog’s distinctive botanicals—dragon’s eye, lotus leaf, white poppy and lavender.
The botanicals are steeped and distilled in traditional copper pot stills, then the resulting gin is reduced to 40% ABV with pure water. The style is a contemporary London Dry: juniper‑led, but with pronounced citrus, floral notes and a hint of Eastern fruit and herbs, designed to be “smooth, multi‑flavoured and blendable.”
Tasting Notes
Color: Crystal clear.
Aroma: Light juniper on top, followed by lemon peel, floral lavender, hints of longan fruit and soft herbs; slightly perfumed but still recognisably London Dry.
Palate: Medium‑bodied and relatively soft. Juniper and citrus lead, supported by lavender, longan, almond and gentle liquorice and cassia spice. At 40% ABV it is warm but not aggressive, with a clean, slightly citrus‑herbal finish—less bone‑dry than some classic London Drys, but very approachable and easy to mix.
